Brandon help SMEs save 50% on their IT expenditure

Brandon Consulting have just launched a managed IT services package which will help business customers reduce costs and get a guaranteed level of service.

Brandon were founded in 1998 by Tom O’Neill offering services that help companies utilise emerging technologies, enhance productivity and maximize return on investment.

The managed IT services package means that customers they get one invoice per month for their IT support and maintenance requirements based on the number of users on their system. This covers all their support requirements both onsite and remote and includes standard services like centrally managed antivirus and anti-spam at a fixed monthly cost.

One company that has utilised the system is Securefleet. Managing director Paul Sweeney says, “The total care package saves us both time and money but more importantly we are kept up to date on where we need to be going in terms of technology.”

Brandon will also interact will all other suppliers on behalf of the customer for procurement and support and provide strategic advice during scheduled reviews. This is provided from central helpdesk based in the company’s offices in Dublin and Galway.

Brandon Consulting are an official Microsoft partner for Windows 7 in Ireland and have been part of Microsoft Windows 7 ignite programme. Brandon are one of only 2 Irish partners selected to be part of this Global programme.

Speaking about the new application, Gary Melvin, sales director with Brandon says;

\"Windows 7 offers a number of advantages over previous systems. As well as the higher levels of performance and capabilities, Windows 7 combines Direct Access and Bitlocker data encryption. I think that this will be a driving force in the adoption of the system as companies become more concerned with protecting their data due to the increase in the use of remote access and laptops. We expect to update all of our customers to Windows 7 over the course of the next year.
